Biography

Tim has retired from his successful award-winning Architectural Practice after 25 years,
but does enjoy a good photograph, so now spends time crafting and refining
his visual art skills from behind the viewfinder of a camera.

Capturing and distilling the essence of place was a consideration in his Architectural work, 
and an approach readily applied to his photography. The challenge of seeing with fresh eyes,
is one he enjoys. Having grown up using a paintbrush or a pencil to record the world around him,
he now paints his landscapes using a camera (and one attached to a drone).

Photography is an excuse to travel and explore the world.
As the quote attributed to Saint Augustine goes :
