Robin Moon

Robin is an award winning photographer
who loves Wildlife and Landscape
Photography and having fun whilst at it.

Extensively travelled,  she can help
guide you where to go, what to do,
what to take, and how to take it.

She's been kissed by a wolf in Norway,
climbed inside a giant tortoise shell
in the Galapagos, hiked up a glacier
into the Crystalline Ice Caves of Iceland
and trekked to 5005m to sip tea with
the locals in the shadows of Mt Chomolari
in the Himalayas of Bhutan.

She has explored the dunes of the
world's largest desert in the UAE
to photograph the Emirati's falcons
diving at breakneck speed, and
yelled out aloud in sheer joy at the
dancing Northern lights whilst stuck
waist deep in fresh snow in the
Lofoten Islands.

She has spent days photographing the
adorable Atlantic Puffins on
Skomer Island in Wales,
and watched a herd of white
Camargue horses gallop out of
the ocean in the pink sky dawn.

More recently she has fallen in love
snorkelling with cheeky
Humpback Whales in Tonga
and played underwater tag with
the Sealions of Kangaroo Island.
She chases the ferocious summer storms
of Sydney with their shelf clouds
and lightning; and is often found
stalking the super tiny, super fast,
Rainbow Bee-eaters on the far
north coast of NSW.

When at home a change of pace
might see her trying her hand at
long exposure sunrises on the beaches
of Sydney, or spending weekends
looking for the sociable stingrays with her
underwater housing floating in the
clear water beaches off Jervis Bay.

Proficient in Lightroom and Photoshop
she will often capture a shot with a
composite image in her mind's eye.

She started with a Sony a7,
progressed to an A7sii, and a7rii
and now loves her a7riv :

"The a7 allowed me to start my journey
with Sony, but the a7riv provides me
a new level of expertise that blows
my mind. I still use my a7rii as a
second body for shooting underwater,
but the a7riv provides me a level of detail
and the ability to crop that I really enjoy.

Robin is fortunate to be married to
another photographic tragic (Timothy) ,
so she gets to share her travels.
Life’s an adventure and the digital magic
of her lens or the power of Photoshop
enables her to tell the story.
